We turned on God on this earth solely to serve Him. Whether it's served in the context of vertical "hablum minallah" and served in a horizontal context "hablum minannas" '
In essence it mean to serve (or called worship) is obedient obey the commandments of God and His Apostle as stipulated in the Quran and Hadith. When the order was violated, or not implemented, then we disobey Him. This is as done by the devil when he refused the command of God when told to prostrate to Adam. Satan deliberately disobey God. He argued that he was more glorious than Adam, because Adam was created from the ground, while the Devil was created from fire. So he does not deserve to do that (for pride). But whatever the pretext of the devil, obviously he had disobeyed God by way of fighting it
Thus it is clear that what is meant to serve or worship was not only obedient salat, fasting and Hajj, but also did not disobey God's commands, submit, be patient when calamity or overwritten when treated persecution by man, leaving the debate, or dispute even though we are in the the correct, applicable both to the people, help people who are trouble, no jealousy or envy, not boastful or takabbur, not riya or show off, do not hurt people, help in family work, not decide Hospitality, distanced himself from the attitude of anger, wise apply when hurt people, always ask for forgiveness when already doing insubordination, not gossiping or talking about orng disgrace, not a bad suspect, no bad effect (whether in the form of words, actions or thoughts), always smiling, forgive those who persecute , always remember God (on when walking, sitting or lying down), to reconcile the hostilities, glorify guests, the invitation, visit the sick, invite people to the path of Allah, keep their promises, applicable both to the neighbors, out of zakat, or shadaqoh infak, not avarice, personal hygiene, pray for the parents, not disobedience to parents, be gentle or polite to the employes, brought the dead, learn, practice science, sympathize orphans, grateful when getting good, working hard or spirit, go for Hajj, etc..
